At A&A Coating, Inc. we understand the necessity for diverse coating options. We offer 2 different types of “OD” coatings to fulfill multiple steel pipe coating requisites.
FUSION BONDED EPOXY (FBE)
An epoxy based powder coating typically used to provide corrosion protection to pipelines, steel pipe and a wide range of piping bonds.
ABRASION RESISTANT OVERLAY (ARO)
A hard, mechanically strong top coating for all fusion bonded epoxy pipeline corrosion protection coatings. It is applied to the base coating to form a tough outer layer that is resistant to gouge, impact, abrasion and penetration. ARO is specifically designed to protect the primary corrosion coating from damage during pipeline directional drilling applications, bored, river crossing and installation in rough terrain.
A&A Coating, Inc. commissioned an all new large diameter 6″- 24″ diameter OD pipe coating plant in 2016. In 2019, we commissioned our small diameter 2”-16” OD coating plant. They are state of the art and all computerized.
